Dare2Dream Basketball Academy Options
Dare2Dream Basketball Academy was set up through the love of our founder parents for their own children. We wanted to ensure our children learnt fundamental skills of their chosen sports. We then identified, our children needed fitness and conditioning. From these personal experiences we coached our own children into top level representation in their sports of rugby and basketball.
From these experiences other children wanted to learn and train as our children. Hence the development of our sports arm which focused initially on rugby training. We moved into the basketball environment in 2017 to support our youngest.
After a potential career ending injury, we realized we needed to be strategic with our time, funds and our young child's developing body. This led us to set up our US Tour Teams starting in 2023 and 2024.
We were blessed to partner with significant US programs such as Southern Coast Academy Florida (SCA) and Next Level Athletic Enhancement (NLAE) based in South Carolina.
US Summer Season 2025
We've tried the US 2 week tours as Australian/New Zealand teams. We found that the game in the US (Mecca of Basketball) is significantly different to AU/NZ junior basketball.
We've experienced that it is beneficial to spend more time in the US to learn from the best in the work for the last decades in general.
We are blessed to offer our Dare2Dream Basketball Academy (D2DBA) partnership with Next Level Athletic Enhancement (NLAE) based in South Carolina.
Summer Season is high on US College Scouting opportunities.
Up to 12 Boys and 12 Girls from AU/NZ have the opportunity to train and play with our US/International player and coach Kwan Johnson.

Trainings on either Mon/Thu.

US High School Season
To support more opportunities to learn in the mecca of the basketball world. We have 12 spots for Boys, 12 spots for Girls from Australia and New Zealand to develop in the US through our partnership with Southern Coast Academy (Florida).
This season goes from August to March each year.
This Pathway is for players aiming to play in US Colleges in order to make a career from basketball.
